Delivery
Your structures will be delivered to your nearest state capital sea port, with sea freight added to the total order value during the quote process. This is based upon a sliding scale, as shipping multiple units dramatically reduces the costs.
Please note freight prices vary and delivery constraints do exist. Please ask your sales representative for current prices based on the quantity and model chosen.
From the port you can make your own arrangements to site, or we are happy to arrange transport to your location at an additional fee. On quoting your order we will supply an indicative “to site” delivery price. This price is an estimate only, as shipping costs are subject to change at short notice.
These factors that may include: time of year, location of site, climatic & seasonal events, availability, equipment required, quantity of order. Once manufacture has been completed, the structures have been shipped, & we will lock in the freight costs. These costs will be included in your “freight on board” progress payment. Depending on site location, this will be
approx. 30-45 days prior to site delivery.
We can purchase a shipping container for you, and the cost will be added to your invoice when you make your initial purchase. All items for your tents or cabins will be loaded into the container(s) based on the quantity and size of the structures. Full containers will be delivered to your site using a side-loader truck and left there.
This option is popular because the containers can be reused for site storage during construction and sold after completion or used for long-term storage. It can also reduce unpacking, handling, and transport costs, while minimising potential damage from handling or bad weather.
Hire containers are sourced from the shipping line. Once they arrive at the port, they’ll be collected and taken to the freight forwarder’s facility for unpacking. The goods will then be reloaded onto flat-bed trucks for delivery.
You’ll need equipment on-site to unload the goods from the truck. A telehandler or off-road forklift is preferred. If you don’t have this equipment, Eco Structures can arrange it for you at an extra cost. Based on past projects, a single trailer costs about $5 AUD per km, and machinery hire is around $150 AUD per hour, requiring 3-4 hours per trailer. These services can be arranged for an additional fee.
As each custom packing and shipping request is unique, so too is each estimate. Freight estimates are not guaranteed until 30 – 45 days prior to
delivery and may vary based on confirmed weight, dimensions, date, and other pertinent information.
Shipping is a cost recoverable process, and our aim is to achieve the best possible prices for our customers.
Eco Structures works with various freight forwarders & customs brokers to source competitive rates for ocean, air & land transport. We can provide this service to you at an additional agreed charge, however you also have the option to arrange logistics independently.
Eco Structures will assist in the delivery of our products to your location. When delivering our structures to you, our preferred option is using containers.

WABI’s highly efficient packing system ensures that multiple modular structures can be packed into one container.
As system size varies, m2 is the most convenient unit for calculating the rate for a 40ft HC Container. Each container will fit 100m2 of WABi floorspace. Please note these are only approximate sizes and every project will change subject to the amount of glazing, bathkit or bathpod decking and add-on materials supplied.
