The first new accommodation on Rottnest Island in over 30 years– Discovery Rottnest Island – is now officially open for bookings for stays from 1 March 2019.

Discovery Rottnest Island – 83 Eco Structures Glamping Tents

The highly anticipated new eco resort features 83 fully furnished Rottnest glamping tents, and brings an exciting new experience to Rottnest Island for locals and interstate and international tourists.

Nestled behind the dunes of Pinky Beach and Bathurst Lighthouse, the property features three levels of accommodation – connected via boardwalks to the resort pool and restaurant.

Pinky’s Beach Club is at the heart of the property and will be serving locally inspired dishes and cocktails to both resort guests, and other visitors to the island.

Discovery Rottnest Island Director Tim Crosland said that today is an exciting milestone for the property.

“The opening of this property has been hotly anticipated, and today we are revealing more about what will be on offer and welcoming people to book their first stays.”

“Rottnest is a special place, and we know accommodation can be hard to secure. This new property adds to the number of rooms available, and offers an experience that hasn’t before been seen on the island,” said Tim.

Accommodation prices will start at $119 per night in low season for a Standard tent. All tents include ensuites, beds, furnishings, and a private deck. Tent sizes vary for each tent style. All details are available on the website.

Discovery Rottnest Island will provide direct access to Pinky Beach and The Basin, Wi-Fi, BBQ areas, a guest laundry service and concierge service.

The eco tents are being supplied by Eco Structures Australia, who are currently running a global competition with Glamping Hub, offering one lucky winner the chance to own their own eco tent.
